At the start of the collaboration, we took over responsibility from a previous partner. Over time, the portals had grown organically, making their maintenance and further development increasingly complex. Kunlabora introduced structure with a clear vision: rationalize the existing software, ensure daily operations, and create space for new developments.

The challenge: combining stability and innovation

Through regular workshops with the business, we ensure deep insights, shared understanding, and clear analysis. For larger initiatives, we use service blueprints to strategically map out processes and touchpoints.

Within the project, Kunlabora works closely with DELA in an agile scrum setup. DELA provides a dedicated product owner who prioritizes andsteers from the business side, supported by internal business analysts. Kunlabora takes full responsibility for the rest of the team: development, testing, devops, and scrum management. Thanks to this clear division of roles, the collaboration flows smoothly with short feedbackloops and fast iterations. The close cooperation within one integrated scrum team fosters mutual trust, transparent communication, and a shared focus on impact.

Example: transition to a single signing partner

A concrete example of our collaboration is the transition to a new signing partner within DELA’s digital portals. Originally, two different partners were used for digital signatures, which created complexity in both management and usage. The scrum team handled the entire project: from analysis and stakeholder alignment to development, testing, and successful go-live. We also took the opportunity to simplify the codebase and improve testability. The result? A consistent solution for digital signing, reduced operational complexity, and a more maintainable system.
